About ESIA
The Eswatini Institute of Accountants (ESIA) was established by the Accountants Act of 1985 with a clear mandate: to regulate the profession of Accountants and Auditors in Eswatini. Our primary mission is to ensure that the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are consistently upheld within the accounting industry.
Beyond our regulatory responsibilities, ESIA also serves as a computer-based examination center, offering essential certification services to aspiring accountants. This role is crucial in developing the next generation of professionals who will contribute to the financial integrity of our nation.
To support our members in staying informed and compliant with the ever-evolving accounting standards, ESIA conducts quarterly workshops. These events provide our members with the latest insights, updates, and practical knowledge needed to excel in their profession.
ESIA is proud to be affiliated with both the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA). These affiliations not only align us with
